La Coquille opened in 1997 and is managed by Gioacchino Di Meglio. Fine dining is exactly what executive chef and assistant manager, Serge Bottelli, desires. A staff of 25, including restaurant manager Domenico Cacace, complements chef Bottelli and his culinary creations. The menu and restaurant reflect the marine theme – in keeping with the BUEI – and emphasizes French Provence dishes, a style from southern France. Chef Bottelli has developed new menus with great care, utilizing years of experience and wisdom in the field.
